Link-Belt adds Nape and Tripp to Staff | Construction News

Link-Belt Construction Equipment, Lexington, Ky., has hired industry veteran Kyle Nape as a new district manager and has added Dave Tripp as its new training manager.

Nape has been named district manager for Link-Belt Construction Equipment covering Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas. He is a 35-year veteran of the crane and heavy construction equipment industry. His experience includes positions with crane companies in the United States, Canada, Mexico, France, and Brazil.

“Kyle’s experience with crane equipment throughout the world will greatly benefit our distributors and their customers, as well as our company,” said Link-Belt North American sales manager, Skeeter Collins. “He will be a great fit, especially given the variety of crane work being done in that part of the country.”

Nape will be based in Houston, Texas.

In addition, Link-Belt has named Dave Tripp as training manager. He is responsible for managing and directing all aspects of Link-Belt training programs, including the Preferred Technician Training Programs, Master Technician Training Program, sales training, parts training, and factory training.

Tripp has more than 12 years of training experience as a contractor to the U.S. Department of Energy. His educational background includes an instructional design and technology degree from Walden University, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from North Carolina State University.

“Training, in all areas, is vital to the success of Link-Belt, our distributor partners and our valued customers. I am confident that Dave’s experience with developing and managing all types of curriculum will enhance the Link-Belt crane ownership experience,” said Link-Belt manager of marketing and technical communications, Bruce Kabalen.
