New Liebherr Nenzing Facility to Open in 2013

Liebherr Nenzing Crane Co., Nenzing, Austria, has laid the foundation and will soon start erecting steel for its new 40,000-square-foot office and warehouse near Miami, Fla.

Ground was broken in March, and completion is scheduled for early 2013. The new Miami facility will complement Liebherr Nenzing’s existing North American headquarters in Houston, Texas. It will be a major hub for sales, service, and parts distribution to Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. It will also strengthen Liebherr Nenzing’s service and parts availability for customers in the United States.

“Not only will we be able to offer even better service and support for our customers, but we will also be able to showcase machines here, which will reduce delivery time and facilitate rentals in the Southeast and Caribbean regions,” says Wolfgang Herzog, vice president of sales for the region. He says the new Miami facility will also have a designated demonstration and testing area where customers can inspect and test cranes.

About 50 to 60 employees will work at the new facility.
