Perkins Engines has named 18-year rental market veteran Corey Berry as its Rental Account Manager.
Berry's appointment was announced by Leon Hunt, direct sales and rental manager.
“The rental industry is an important market for Perkins,” Hunt said, “and Corey’s extensive experience makes him uniquely qualified to deliver on the Perkins promise. He knows what it takes to be successful in the rental business and I am confident he will translate that knowledge into solid value for Perkins customers.”
Berry was most recently general mnager of H&E Equipment Services in Orlando, Fla. He has held sales and management positions with Nationsrent, Abco Bramer Crane & Equipment Co., Sunbelt Rentals, Inc., and Standard Equipment Company.
A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Berry has extensive experience in the design, staffing, and implementation of sales operations.
“I entered the rental industry as a mechanic and now have 18 years in the industry,” Berry said. “That experience is now available to the Perkins rental customers I’ll be serving. I understand what they need and I understand how Perkins can help them become more profitable."
Berry says he will be rental customers' voice inside Perkins, “to make sure that the rental industry focus really delivers what they need to succeed."
