Pink Grove Crane Raises Cancer Awareness | Construction News

Mountain Crane Service, Salt Lake City, Utah, has painted a Grove TMS9000E pink as a tribute to members of its workforce whose lives have been affected by cancer.

The company named the crane “Hope” in honor of Tyson Allen, a crane operator who died from the disease in 2012.

In a recent job, the pink TMS9000E helped build the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City.

The crane’s next job will be maintaining an oil refinery in Kemmerer, Wyo.
