Rouse Services, a trusted leader in appraisals of construction and transportation equipment, used-equipment sales support, and rental-metrics benchmarking, has hired Marc A. Eli Swirsky as vice president of business development.
In this role, Mr. Swirsky serves and supports asset-based lenders, business leaders, equity investors, and other key stakeholders in the construction-equipment sector.
Rouse clients benefit from the company's unique proprietary database – the rental and broader construction equipment industry’s most reliable source for up-to-date equipment valuations and market intelligence. In addition, Rouse was one of the first companies to develop a proprietary, online asset re-marketing platform which today is used by a majority of the nation's leading equipment rental companies.
Swirsky brings nearly 30 years of experience in the used industrial equipment business. A highly regarded specialist in the auction and appraisal fields, he has led hundreds of complete liquidations. His background includes executive positions with major auction and appraisal firms. He also co-founded a used equipment business that is a recognized leader in its field.
Swirsky has worked closely with asset-based lenders in the execution of thousands of valuations representing billions of dollars in net recovery value across a broad spectrum of industry sectors. He has served on the boards of directors of both the Machinery Dealers National Association (MDNA) and the Association of Machinery & Equipment Appraisers (AMEA).
"We are excited to welcome Marc to the Rouse team,” said Raffi Aharonian, managing director for Rouse’s appraisals division. “Marc brings an extraordinary level of experience in serving the asset-based lending community. His deep industry contacts will allow us to broaden our market share, and his dedication to client servicing will add value to our customer-focused organization."
Swirsky is based in Rouse Services' Beverly Hills headquarters office.
