After 17 years with Stephenson Equipment, Lon Coon, manager of New York operations, is retiring on June 30.

Coon joined Stephenson in 1998 as manager of the company's Syracuse, N.Y., branch. He also oversaw the opening of Stephenson's Albany location.

Dennis Heller, president/CEO of Stephenson Equipment, announced Coon’s retirement and named Darrick Marris as Syracuse branch manager, and Josh Kowalski as Albany branch manager.

Marris joined Stephenson in October, 2013, as a crane salesperson for western upstate New York. Marris' experience with heavy equipment spans more than 20 years. It began in 1990 when he became a field service technician, and includes as experience as a service manager and as a territory salesman, all in northern and western New York state.

Before his promotion, Josh Kowalski most recently was operations manager for Stephenson's Albany branch. He had joined Stephenson in 2010 as a sales representative, and has more than 20 years' experience in the heavy-equipment industry.
