Terex Boom Trucks Part of Direct 2 Rental Initiative | Construction News

Terex AWP will sell, service, and provide parts and warranty support for select Terex Construction and Terex Crane products under its new North American Direct 2 Rental (D2R) initiative to allow rental customers easier access to Terex products. Customers can also help reduce their total cost of ownership on select construction and crane equipment by taking advantage of the Genie parts, services and warranty programs through the new initiative.

Genie will offer three of the most popular Terex products in the rental channel through the D2R initiative: the Terex TLB840 backhoe loader, the Terex BT 3870 and the BT 4792 boom trucks. Additional products will be added to the D2R initiative in the future.

“Because of our strong ties within the rental channel, we are leveraging our experience to offer a few of our most sought after Terex products to our rental customers,” said Kim Williams, Terex Aerial Work Platforms,  cross-selling manager. “We are creating a new pathway for our rental customers to have easier access to Terex products while simultaneously benefitting from Genie’s strengths: our people and our service offerings.”

With a loading height of 11′3″, the TLB840 backhoe loader can easily load high-sided trucks, and with a 10,485 lbf bucket breakout force, a loader lift capacity of 7,291 lbf and bucket capacity of 1.32 yd3, it offers high-capacity production.
