Wood's CRW to Sell Link-Belt Cranes in Eastern Pennsylvania | Crane

Wood's CRW will expand its distribution of Link-Belt Construction Equipment in eastern Pennsylvania in 2014. On Jan. 1, the company will purchase the assets of the Link-Belt Mid-Altantic branch in Carlisle, Pa. All employees will be retained at the branch.

According to Link-Belt, Wood’s CRW Corp. is a perennial top five sales volume distributor for the company, with a territory that covers New England and most of New York state. “CRW has a well-earned reputation for sales expertise and superior customer support that they provide to their customers on a daily basis. We expect the transition into eastern Pennsylvania to be seamless,” said Skeeter Collins, Link-Belt's North American sales manager.

According to Chris Palmer, president of Wood’s CRW Corp.: “We are very happy to be expanding our relationship with Link-Belt and look forward to delivering the highest level of customer sales and service support in our new territory. We welcome our new employees to the CRW family and believe the addition of the eastern Pennsylvania territory will blend well with our current locations.”

Link-Belt Mid-Atlantic, headquartered in Richmond, Va., will focus on its original core territory of Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and Washington, D.C.
