Crane Industry Services LLC has added crane and rigging specialists and inspection/program coordinators to its team.

Gary Lloyd, previously a maintenance superintendent with ALL Crane Rental of Georgia, adds more depth and expertise in hands-on training to the Crane Industry Services, LLC team. Lloyd also inspects cranes and rigging, and conducts NDT testing. “Gary has more than 30 years of experience in the industry, and is highly regarded for his knowledge and skills,” said Cliff Dickinson, president, Crane Industry Services.

Lloyd will team up with John Brown and Terry Norris, who both joined Crane Industry Services in 2014.

Brown is a retired U.S. Navy officer with experience in cranes, rigging, training, safety, security, and engineering. He holds a Certified Safety and Health Manager certification from the Institute of Safety and Health Management (ISHM), and is an experienced trainer, examiner and inspector.

Norris recently celebrated his one-year anniversary with Crane Industry Services. Norris was a crane specialist with Alabama Power for 21 years, and a hydraulics specialist with ToolSmith prior to joining Crane Industry Services. In both those roles, Norris conducted hands-on and classroom training, equipment inspections and testing.

Candice Eldredge now serves in the newly created position of inspections and program coordinator. Eldredge has several years of experience in certification and accreditation management in the crane and rigging industry.

Angela Strange continues her primary responsibilities in corporate communications while recently cross-training for the new inspections and program coordinator responsibilities.

In addition to the core team, contractors add a depth of experience and capabilities to the Crane Industry Services’ team of crane and rigging inspectors, trainers and examiners.

“We assembled a highly skilled team in preparation for the launch of several new training programs, including the Crane Safety for Site Management program that was successfully piloted in Chicago and Atlanta in late 2014,” said Debbie Dickinson, Crane Industry Services CEO.

Debbie Dickinson is the former executive director of ANSI- and NCCA-accredited programs designed to certify crane operators and riggers, and is a co-founder of Crane Industry Services. She provides expert witnessing services related to personnel qualifications and on-job safety planning and supervision. She has expertise in compliance, standards, accreditation, job site audits and development of customer-friendly training and certifications.
