Gorbel’s G-Jib Offers an All-in-One Ergonomic Lifting Solution

Gorbel, Fishers, N.Y., introduces G-Jib™ the newest product in the company’s Intelligent Lifting Device line. The G-Jib combines G-Force® technology with Gorbel’s enclosed track work station jib crane, creating an all-in-one ergonomic intelligent lifting solution that is cost-effective for applications which require fast lifting and precise placement. Features include the easy movement of the enclosed track work station jib, and speed, precision and intelligence of the G-Force. Ergonomically, Gorbel has eliminated the dead weight of the lifting device on the boom of the jib by mounting the actuator of the G-Force in a fixed position near the vertical truss of the crane.

The system’s wire rope is reeved out to the handle, leaving just a trolley to move along the boom. As a result, moving a load with a G-Jib will require less force, according to the company.
