Lizzy Lift Adds Two 68-ft. Battery-Powered Scissor Lifts to Fleet | Construction News

Lizzy Lift, Franklin Park, Ill., has added two 68-ft. (platform height) battery-powered scissor lifts to its fleet.

Made in Germany by PB Lift and sold in North America exclusively by ReachMaster, the PB 7448 lifts measure only 4 ft. wide and 14'8" long. Stowed height is 8'4".

They have a 991-lb. platform capacity and can be driven at full height and can climb a 25° grade. Overall weight is 22,686 lbs.

Lizzy Lifts' two new units are the first delivered in North America. The model was introduced to this market in ReachMaster's stand at last March's ConExpo show in Las Vegas.

Lizzy Lift purchased the two units, which feature 13' x 4' platforms, at the show and took delivery in September.

One of the units is on rent to a racking project in Midlothian, Texas, where it is expected to be on the job from four to six months. The other one is in Lizzy Lift's Illinois facility, available for rent anywhere in North America.

Lizzy Lift president Jennifer DuBose-Lombard said several potential customers have shown interest in the super-tall machines for building-maintenance applications.
