Thern, Inc., Winona, Minn., has expanded its offering of portable cranes with the addition of portable aluminum gantry style cranes manufactured by Reid Lifting, Wales, United Kingdom. Reid Lifting Porta-Gantry® units, designed to combine capacity with convenience, feature durable aluminum construction which delivers up to 5 tons of lifting capacity in a lightweight, modular assembly. Engineered for quick and easy setup and break down to facilitate portability between workstations, the Porta-Gantry is assembled using just four bolts, and collapses and packs flat for convenient shipping and storage. Operators will also appreciate the added portability and versatility provided by caster wheels and manual height and width adjustments.
All wheels include caster locks to keep the crane in place during operation. The Reid cranes are designed for markets ranging from HVAC to wastewater.
