RMI has released the Fall 2013 edition of its Advantage Cloud business management solution for the rental, sales, and service industries. This release falls in line with RMI’s 10 Year Update and Upgrade commitment.
New features include a usage-based rental billing model, which allows rental rates to be billed on how the equipment was (or was not) used during the billing cycle. Flexible user-defined usage codes, along with a daily view of equipment on rent, makes this process easy to complete. It can be done at the line, order, or customer level.
Reporting improvements also have been made. Physical Utilization is a new report developed in accordance with the American Rental Association industry standards for reporting and benchmarking fleet efficiency and utilization to ensure consistency in reporting across the rental market. Also, the Quote Conversion report is an effective tool for analyzing the conversion rate of rental quotes to rental orders. The enhancements to this report include filtering by salesperson during the reporting period and a detailed breakdown of the quote conversion activity.
