Off-Road Equipment Manufacturers to Hold Product-Safety Seminar | Industry News

Hundreds of off-road equipment industry professionals will gather April 29-30 in Chicago (Schaumburg), Ill., at the Association of Equipment Manufacturers’ (AEM) annual product safety and compliance seminar, seeking the latest industry knowledge to help them fine-tune company programs.

The AEM event is developed specifically by and for equipment manufacturers as an industry forum to discuss critical issues involved in the design, manufacture, and use of their products.

With the theme of “Standing the Test of Time: Product Safety that Endures,” the seminar offers more than 20 focused sessions, from basic safety-and-compliance-process best practices to the latest regulations, standards, and technology. The content is global in reach and applicable to the day-to-day jobs of safety professionals from beginners to mid-level and seasoned employees.

Attendees can also participate at no charge in an optional half-day fundamentals course, "The Cornerstone of Product Safety," on April 28.

The AEM Product Liability Seminar will be held May 1. The liability seminar uses a mock trial (based on an actual case and facilitated by a team of experienced trial lawyers) to help AEM member professionals put their product safety and liability practices into the context of real-world litigation.

All three events are at the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg in Schaumburg, Ill.
