Linamar Corporation’s Skyjack division just unveiled their newest product at The Rental Show in New Orleans, Louisiana. The company attended the largest rental show in North America this week and brought with them their SJ519 TH – the first compact telehandler in Skyjack’s product lineup.

Leading aerial work platform manufacturer, Snorkel, will bring three of its latest product launches to The Rental Show 2018, taking place in New Orleans, Louisiana, this week.

On its 3,000 sq. ft. (278sqm) booth in the Construction Hall at the show, Snorkel will give rental companies the opportunity to see some its latest innovations ‘in the metal’, including the Snorkel S3215L lightweight electric scissor lift, the Snorkel TM16E telescopic mast lift, and a new compact telehandler, the Snorkel SR5719.

Genie has introduced the GTH-636, an all-new 6,000-lb.-capacity telehandler that delivers full-sized performance in a compact machine at a competitive price.

“With the GTH-636, we took the best features of our 8,000-lb. telehandler and then created a whole new equation. We focused on maximizing customer ROIC,” said Chad Hislop, director of product management, Terex Aerial Work Platforms.

Generally speaking, compact telescopic handlers are divided into two different classifications. The Gehl CT5-16 telehandler represents "ground-engaging" units, and the Mustang 519 forklift represents the "pick-and-place" machines.
