Pettibone Celebrates 50th Anniversary of Extendo Telehandler

Pettibone Extendo 50th anniversary

Pettibone/Traverse Lift is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Pettibone Model 88 Extendo, which the company claims is the first telescopic handler ever produced.

Developed in the late 1960s, the first Model 88 Extendo unit was completed and delivered in early 1970, as documented by the original bill of sale from March 24, 1970.

The Magni RTH 13.26 SH offers a maximum lifting capacity of 28,600 lbs., whether on stabilizers or on rubber tires for pick and carry. At its maximum lifting height of 86 ft., it can lift 17,600 lbs., and it has a maximum reach of 70 ft., where it can lift 4,000 lbs.

JCB Introduces Subcompact Telehandler

JCB 504-13 Loadall telehandler

JCB launched the 504-13 Loadall subcompact telescopic handler, developed in response to growing demand in North America for telehandlers in the under-6,000-lb. category.

With a 4,000-lb. lift capacity and maximum lift height of 13 ft. 3 in., the 504-13 is well-suited to maintenance applications, jobsite cleanup, and material handling within confined worksites. 

The 504-13 builds on the design and capability characteristics of the company’s earlier JCB 520-40 Loadall, with the addition of a new 39-hp Perkins Tier 4 Final-compliant diesel engine. Other features include:

JCB Launches 510-42 Loadall Telehandler To Deliver 10,000-LB Capacity With No Outriggers

JCB today announced the launch of the 510-42 Loadall, a telescopic handler with a 10,000-lb maximum lift capacity and 42-foot lift height that requires no outriggers. The 510-42 is available with a JCB EcoMAX 109-hp engine requiring no diesel particulate filter, or a 74-hp engine requiring no diesel particulate filter (DPF) and no Diesel Engine Fluid (DEF).

Developed in direct response to a customer demand, the 510-42 has already earned more than 25 orders from customers in North America.
