AXCS Equipment, based in Richfield, Wisconsin, is expanding its product portfolio beyond lightweight aerial work platforms into material handling equipment, including a new telehandler line. The move builds on changes following ASKO Holding’s acquisition of Hy-Brid Lifts in 2023 and reflects the company’s broader strategy to grow across access and material handling markets.

According to the company, the transition marks a shift from a niche focus on ultra-lightweight scissor lifts toward a wider range of equipment for construction, industrial and infrastructure applications in North America and international markets.

“2023 was a turning point for the business,” said Eric Liner, chief executive officer of AXCS Equipment. “ASKO recognized that what originally made Hy-Brid Lifts successful was a customer-focused culture combined with innovative, lightweight, purpose-built machines designed for real-world jobsite needs and saw the opportunity to scale that philosophy across a much larger platform.”

Since the acquisition, AXCS Equipment has expanded its engineering capabilities, manufacturing alignment and product development strategy.

The company’s existing aerial work platform lineup includes PS-Series Micro Scissor Lifts, ZT-Series Zero-Turn Micro Scissor Lifts, and EL-Series Scissor Lifts. AXCS also indicated future additions are planned, including new Micro Scissor Lift models and vertical mast lifts designed for low floor loading and use in confined work environments such as data centers, schools, and commercial interiors.

In addition to access equipment, AXCS has introduced a telehandler product line under the TH-Series. Models include the TH-842, TH-944, TH-1044, TH-1056 and TH-1256. The company stated the telehandler line is intended to support applications requiring lifting capacity, reliability and operational productivity in construction and industrial settings.

“Telehandlers represent an important step in the evolution of AXCS Equipment,” said Liner. “While our access products are known for lightweight innovation and compact performance, our material handling equipment is focused on strength, reliability and maximizing productivity in demanding applications.”

AXCS said the expansion is intended to support both rental companies and dealers while broadening product coverage across multiple jobsite needs.
