BendPak introduced the MaxJax MAX7 portable two-post lift at the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas on November 5. The updated model provides 3 inches more lifting height than earlier MaxJax lifts and adds the company’s Automatic Swing Arm Restraint System (ASARS).
The MAX7 is the first MaxJax model to incorporate ASARS, a patent-pending system designed to help prevent unintended swing arm movement during lifting, lowering, and vehicle service. The system provides a 360-degree locking interface and 10 times the holding force of traditional swing arm restraint mechanisms, according to BendPak. The lift also includes seven safety locking positions and an upgraded lock release.
The MAX7 has a maximum lifting height of 50.25 inches and a rated load capacity of 7,000 pounds. Its open design allows access to brakes, suspension, exhaust systems, and other undercarriage components. The lift's compact profile is intended for spaces with low ceilings.
“Garage space is premium real estate, whether you’re running a busy shop or wrenching at home,” says Sean Price, BendPak director of quality control and product development. “The MAX7 stands out for its versatility. It delivers commercial-grade lifting power for enthusiasts without permanently sacrificing parking space, while enabling professional shops to quickly increase service capacity during peak hours. The MaxJax MAX7 unlocks maximum utility without requiring a permanent footprint.”
The portable design uses removable columns and a power unit. During operation, each column is bolted to anchors recessed in the concrete floor. Once service is complete, the columns can be unbolted and rolled away.
BendPak offers four MAX7 packages with different equipment combinations. The Standard Package includes the lift assembly, power unit with tow-cart, standard anchor bolt kit, round lift pads, and medium adapters. The Deluxe Package adds a rolling work seat and portable oil drain. The Supreme Package adds frame cradle pads and tall adapters to the Deluxe Package components. The Ultimate Package replaces the standard rolling work seat with the MaxJax Ergonomic Height-Adjustable Creeper Seat.
An optional Motorcycle and ATV Adapter Kit is also available for powersports service.
BendPak introduced the MAX7 at its outdoor interactive display in the SEMA Show Silver Lot, Booth #80043, and held equipment demonstrations at Booth #36129 in the Las Vegas Convention Center’s Upper South Hall. The SEMA Show runs November 3 to 6.
