Big Joe Forklifts announced two new products at MODEX, including the LPX40 lithium-ion forklift and the Big Joe Pulse asset optimization tool. The company presented both innovations at booth B9313 during the event in Atlanta.

The Big Joe Pulse system is designed as an asset optimization tool available on every Big Joe Class sit-down counterbalance model. The platform provides visibility into fleet performance, including diagnostics and battery data, and can be accessed remotely through telemetry. It is intended to support maintenance planning, monitor energy usage and track operational performance across individual units or entire fleets.

Pulse includes features such as energy usage tracking, charging behavior analytics, fuel and emissions savings reporting, embedded troubleshooting tools and remote diagnostics with live monitoring. The system also includes fleet management dashboards designed to provide operational data and reporting.

The second product introduced is the LPX40, a 4,000-pound capacity integrated lithium-ion pneumatic tire forklift designed for both indoor and outdoor use. The model is built for applications where propane-powered equipment is commonly used and includes a lithium-ion battery with an onboard charger. It also features large tires, increased ground clearance and an optional enclosed cab with a heater. The LPX40 is expected to launch this summer.

“Everything we’re introducing at MODEX is the result of close collaboration with our dealers and end users,” said Martin Boyd, chief marketing officer at Big Joe Forklifts. “By listening to how our customers operate day to day, we’re able to design and deliver integrated lithium solutions that help companies work more efficiently, lower their total cost of ownership and make smarter decisions across fleets. Our goal is simple: give customers the tools and insights they need to keep operations moving and maximize the value of electrification.”

The product introductions reflect ongoing development in lithium-powered equipment and digital tools designed to support fleet management and operational efficiency.
