Discover Battery made its debut as an exhibitor at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, presenting a range of battery technologies aimed at supporting the electrification of construction and mobile equipment.

At the event, the company introduced a new Lithium Mobile platform alongside updates to its Lithium Professional battery line and its existing Dry Cell AGM technology. The portfolio reflects growing demand for battery-powered solutions across construction, rental and industrial applications.

“Because CONEXPO-CON/AGG brings together OEMs, rental companies, fleet operators and integrators in one place, it is an ideal environment for Discover to demonstrate how it supports the electrification of construction and industrial equipment,” said Peter Johnston, Discover’s vice president of business development - lithium. “Attendees who stop by the Discover booth will be able to see our expanded product portfolio firsthand and experience our commitment to delivering application-driven battery solutions designed for demanding real-world conditions.”

The newly introduced Lithium Mobile platform, including the DLM-16000-48V battery, is designed for high-power mobile and industrial applications. The system delivers 16 kilowatt hours of energy at 51.2 volts with a 314-ampere-hour capacity and supports charge and discharge rates up to 200 amps. It is engineered to provide extended runtime and auxiliary power while maintaining a compact design suited for jobsite conditions. The platform incorporates integrated system intelligence, safety features and certifications, along with an enclosure designed for outdoor use in demanding environments.

The company indicated the platform is suited for applications such as lighting towers, construction trailers, mobile power units and remote jobsite systems, where consistent and maintenance-free power is required.

Discover also presented enhancements to its Lithium Professional (DLP) GC2-format battery range. Built on a standardized footprint commonly used in industrial equipment, the system is designed to integrate into existing battery compartments while supporting electrification. Available in configurations from 12 volts to 48 volts, the modular platform allows multiple batteries to be connected in parallel, supporting scalable system design and high-duty applications. The system includes a battery management system with fast recharge capability and integrated heating for operation in low temperatures.

In addition to lithium-based systems, Discover highlighted its Dry Cell AGM traction battery line. The sealed, maintenance-free batteries are designed to provide consistent performance in applications such as aerial work platforms and other industrial equipment. The company noted ongoing engineering developments, including Hydro Polymer technology, aimed at addressing factors that can contribute to battery wear in demanding duty cycles.

“By offering lithium and AGM technologies within a unified portfolio, Discover enables customers to select battery solutions based on application requirements, performance expectations and economic considerations rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all approach,” said Johnston.

The company’s participation at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 reflects broader industry trends toward equipment electrification, as fleet operators evaluate energy solutions that support efficiency, utilization and operational demands across construction and access equipment.
