Xtellio presented its latest telematics developments at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 in Las Vegas, highlighting a unified data infrastructure platform and new solutions aimed at expanding visibility across construction jobsites.

The company introduced a modular platform designed to collect and deliver data across mixed fleets, including heavy equipment, smaller assets and non-powered tools. The system combines rugged Bluetooth sensors, known as Xenses, with wired Pro Xentral devices to create a scalable foundation for data collection and transmission.

“Telematics originally gained traction in the construction industry in the early 2000s, focusing mainly on heavy equipment,” said Tom Valbak Aardestrup, CEO, Xtellio. “Today, we are pleased to offer a platform solution that moves that model forward, extending visibility across the jobsite environment and advancing data liberation through customer ownership and flexibility.”

The platform is designed to support both wired and wireless equipment, enabling companies to gather operational data such as engine hours, diagnostics and equipment status. Through open application programming interfaces, the system allows integration with existing business platforms, giving users control over how their data is used and analyzed.

Alongside the broader platform, Xtellio also showcased its Pro Xentral – Heat IQ solution, a telematics device developed for industrial heater fleets. The system enables remote monitoring and diagnostics, providing visibility into heater performance, fault codes, run hours and operational status.

Industrial heaters are commonly used in cold-weather construction applications such as concrete curing and temporary enclosures. Xtellio indicated that limited visibility into heater performance can lead to unnecessary service calls and delays when issues arise.

“For the first time, industrial heaters have deep telematics capabilities,” said Tom Valbak, CEO, Xtellio. “With Pro Xentral - Heat IQ, our customers know what’s happening with their heaters even before a service truck rolls out. That saves labor costs, yields better customer support, increases equipment uptime and reduces unnecessary service visits.”

The Heat IQ device connects directly to heater systems and transmits data via cellular networks to Xtellio’s cloud platform. It is designed for quick installation and includes GPS tracking capabilities, allowing users to monitor equipment location as well as performance.

Industry partners also highlighted the operational impact of increased data visibility. “We’re excited to give our field service team realtime diagnostics to troubleshoot issues before arriving on site,” said Rod Lentino, director of rental equipment, Cooper Equipment Rentals. “Developed in close collaboration with Xtellio, Heat IQ integrates operational and GPS data directly into our telematics portal, reducing downtime, optimizing dispatch, and delivering a faster, more seamless customer experience. This is a major step forward in our commitment to industry-leading service and innovation.”

Nicole Clancy, president, Frost Fighter, added: “Frost Fighter has led the way in indirect-fired heating since 1965. As the rental industry evolves, remote diagnostics are increasingly important. We’re pleased to support Xtellio’s innovation in bringing improved serviceability and reliability to the heater category.”

Xtellio stated that its telematics platform and connected devices are available across multiple global markets, supporting construction, rental and utility operations seeking expanded data access and operational insights.
