Donkey Forklifts Adds Dealers in Florida and Georgia

Donkey Forklifts has expanded its dealer network in the Southeast with the addition of Florida Forklift and Ogden Forklifts as authorized dealers in Florida and Georgia, respectively.

Florida Forklift operates six branches across Florida, while Ogden Forklifts has locations in Atlanta and Savannah. The two dealerships operate under the same ownership and will provide sales, parts, and service support for Donkey Forklifts in their respective states.

The additions create an eight-location support network across Florida and Georgia.

“Florida Forklift has the experience, statewide footprint, and customer-first approach we're looking for in a dealer,” said Bradley Holder, vice president of sales for Donkey Forklifts. “Their team gives customers access to knowledgeable local support wherever they operate.”

Florida Forklift, founded in 1974, provides new and used material handling equipment, rentals, parts, service, and warehouse solutions. Its locations are in Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Fort Myers, Port St. Lucie, and Winter Haven.

Ogden Forklifts has more than 60 years of experience serving businesses in Georgia. The company provides material handling solutions from its Atlanta and Savannah locations. John Gehrhardt serves as president and CEO of both Florida Forklift and Ogden Forklifts.

The two dealerships will represent Donkey's lineup of truck-mounted forklifts, including mechanical, hydrostatic and electric models.

Donkey said its truck-mounted forklifts are intended for applications including building materials, roofing, landscaping, and specialty delivery operations. The company said the equipment is designed to maximize payload while remaining easy to transport and maneuver.

For Georgia operations, Donkey said its lightweight truck-mounted forklifts can help fleet owners maximize hauling capacity while helping many operations stay under CDL thresholds. The company also said its mechanical, hydrostatic and electric models are designed for delivery applications and challenging jobsites.

The dealer additions come as Donkey Forklifts marks 40 years of American-made production.
