Haulotte will unveil its new 85-ft. HT85 telescopic boom lift at the Conexpo trade show in Las Vegas at the beginning of March.

The versatile new HT85 adapts easily to a wide range of projects: building work, finishing, maintenance and inspection, building renovation, demolition, shipyard work, mining, landscaping, and tree care.

The HT85 is the first model to offer Haulotte's new innovative, ultra-high-performance lighting system, ACTIV’Lighting System-Safe Load, which simplifies loading and unloading of the boom lift off of or onto a truck. The system features several lights around the machine to illuminates the controls and the area around the boom so users can carry out their maneuvers safely.

New generation of secondary guarding system
Perfectly integrated into the upper control box cover, the new generation of secondary guarding system Haulotte Activ’Shield Bar 2.0 offers additional protection, shielding users from any risk of crushing without compromising productivity.

Great outreach and simultaneous movements
With a maximal outreach of nearly 78'2", users can reach even the most inaccessible work areas. Thanks to perfectly simultaneous movements, the telescopic boom quickly extends to full height, saving considerable time to reach the work area.

Dual Load Capacity (optional)
The optional 500-lb. / 770-lb. dual platform capacity lets users carry more of the equipment and supplies they need. In 770-lb. mode, the platform can accommodate an extra 40% of equipment by weight.

All-terrain capacity
Several features let the HT85 churn through the toughest terrain. The oscillating axle delivers superior ground adhesion. A hydraulic differential wheel lock distributes power effectively to the wheels. High ground clearance gets the machine over obstacles. The result is 45% gradeability. The HT85 range was designed to move easily, even on rough terrain or inaccessible areas.

To make life easier for users, Haulotte offers many options, including a glazier kit, plumbing kit, non-marking tires, hydraulic generator, hostile environment kit, air line in the platform, and many others.

Standard comfort features
Like all new machines developed by Haulotte Group, the HT85 range incorporates a standard upper control box designed to carry out drive and elevation movements with accuracy and precision, and a standard tool tray, practical for carrying and ensuring easy access to equipment.

Enhanced durability
Like all new machines developed by Haulotte, the HT85 incorporates the latest design standards, ensuring robustness and high durability to maintain greater resale value. They include: anti-corrosion treatment, reinforced hoods, a protective housing for the upper control box, a well-protected weighing system that does not come into contact with the ground, and steering rods that are located inside the frame to protect them in case of impact.

Easy maintenance
The ACTIV'Screen on-board diagnostic system is a comprehensive tool that provides access to details and the complete troubleshooting procedure, machine settings, maintenance alerts and service intervals, modifications of general settings such as interface language and units of measurement. ACTIV’Screen acts as a veritable assistant, supporting users daily in carrying out maintenance operations.

Telematics ready
For fleet management, a universal telematics connector comes standard. It adapts to any type of telematic system, so you can quickly connect your own telematics devices to the machine. It gives you the capacity to manage all your equipment with a telematics system of your choice.

Cost efficient
When operators are working at height, the engine often runs for no reason, resulting in the hourmeter counting hours unnecessarily. That is why the HT85 range is equipped with the innovative stop-emission system that automatically stops and restarts the engine. The system reduces use of the engine and peripheral components by up to 20%, thereby extending the life of your engine and assuring higher residual value. It also reduces fuel consumption and operating cost.

And as the machine produces up to 20% less noise, operators can work in sensitive areas like hospitals, schools, an office buildings.

The platform and cover hoods are made up of easily dismantled components. In the event of wear, you need only replace the damaged part rather than the entire assembly: simple, quick and more economical.

All told, the HT85's features give operators comfortable operation and greater confidence while letting them reach the works areas up to 85 ft. high quickly and safely. It complies with the most advanced international regulations, including the North American, European, Asian, and Australian standards.

To meet the needs of rental companies, the HT85 range is designed to withstand intensive use while offering stress-free maintenance. It's a durable machine that requires little maintenance and keeps costs at a reasonable level.
