JLG Industries, Inc., part of Oshkosh Corporation, has updated its line of rotating telehandlers, introducing the new R13100 model designed for complex construction environments and demanding job sites. The refreshed lineup delivers both horizontal and vertical lift-and-place capabilities, combining versatility, operator comfort and advanced technology.
“With the addition of the new R13100 model, enhanced operator-focused features and standard ClearSky Smart Fleet connectivity, this line offers our customers the versatility, power and confidence they need to get the job done efficiently and safely,” said Catherine Lee, product manager – Telehandlers, JLG.
The R13100 leads the JLG rotating telehandler family with a 13,200-pound lift capacity and a maximum height of 97 feet. Alongside the R1370 and R1385 models, the R13100 shares a nearly identical base configuration, allowing contractors to rely on consistent performance across the series. Diesel engines power the R1370 at 134 horsepower, while the R1385 and R13100 models feature 168 horsepower. All models include a 2-speed, stop-to-shift hydrostatic transmission for smooth operation on uneven terrain.
New enhancements focus on modern job site demands, including JLG’s ClearSky Smart Fleet two-way fleet management platform, redesigned counterweights with integrated lights, an upgraded cab with optimized joystick controls and a Woodcracker-ready option for tree-felling applications.
Safety remains central to the rotating telehandler line. Automatic Attachment Recognition, Load Management Information System (LMIS) and Load Stability Indication (LSI) technologies come standard, helping operators manage attachments, monitor load limits and maintain stability.
JLG rotating telehandlers offer 360-degree rotation, a wide range of attachments, optional hydraulic couplers and continuous auxiliary hydraulics, making them suitable as a mobile elevating work platform, crane alternative or high-capacity material handler. Standard remote boom control enhances visibility and precision when working outside the cab.
The redesigned cab improves comfort and functionality with dual joystick proportional controls, integrated boom-mounted and reversing cameras and an enclosed climate-controlled environment. Operators can adjust speed, RPMs and steering modes using the VDC controller for specific job requirements.
“Congested job sites present fierce challenges — navigating tight spaces, lifting heavy loads and reaching extreme heights. That’s where JLG rotating telehandlers provide a distinct advantage,” Lee added. “From maneuvering in crowded environments to lifting and loading in any direction, these machines truly revolutionize productivity on modern work sites.”
