LGMG North America Relaunches Under Craig Paylor’s Leadership

LGMG North America (NA) has relaunched with a sharpened focus on service, support and long-term customer value, led by industry veteran Craig Paylor as president.

Paylor, who previously served as president of JLG, brings nearly five decades of industry experience to his new role. His appointment signals LGMG’s commitment to expanding its North American presence while strengthening relationships with rental partners and contractors.

“North America is one of our most important growth markets,” said Simon Zhang, president of LGMG Global. “With the right leadership, the right team and the right focus, LGMG NA is positioned to become a trusted name in this industry for years to come.”

“This relaunch is more than a fresh start,” Paylor said. “We are building a company that is consistent, responsive and relentless in meeting our customers’ expectations.”

The company’s U.S. headquarters in The Colony, Texas, houses inside sales, technical service support and parts distribution. From this location, LGMG can move parts and equipment quickly nationwide. A new service center is also in development in Charlotte, N.C., to expand offerings.

LGMG’s Monterrey, Mexico, facility is central to its relaunch strategy. Fully operational since 2024, the site manufactures all equipment for the U.S. market. Production is expected to reach 15,000 units by 2026 and a 30,000-unit annual capacity within three years. The facility currently employs about 400 workers, with further growth expected.

LGMG also established a North American R&D center at the Monterrey site in 2024 to tailor equipment to regional market needs. Upcoming developments include expanded telehandler production in 2025 and the launch of a high-reach aerial platform exceeding 100 feet in 2026.

The company said its North American strategy is built around lifecycle support for rental fleets, including:

  • Warranty coverage: Five years on all MEWPs, three years on telehandlers with an optional two-year extension.
  • Parts distribution: A 94% spare parts fill rate, with most orders shipped within 24 to 48 hours.
  • Aftersales support: A dedicated service staff and hotline for rapid response.
  • Smart Fleet Support: Telematics designed to improve utilization and reduce downtime.

By combining localized manufacturing, expanded service and long-term warranties, LGMG said it aims to build trust with both national accounts and independent rental companies.

LGMG operates in more than 100 countries, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, South Korea, Australia and Japan.
