95% of spare parts reach their destination within 24 hours. Now, the excellent global network of PALFINGER sales and service partners is being further strengthened by the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to live up to the promise of "100% uptime".

PALFINGER loader cranes, truck mounted forklifts and lifting solutions deliver top performance all over the world, day after day. It can happen that a part fails. But thanks to the central quality promise of "100% uptime", the spare part is on site and installed within one day. This is the kind of customer centricity that PALFINGER guarantees with 34 production sites and more than 5,000 service and sales points in 130 countries.

At destination in 24 hours

Several components play a role in this success: First, the excellent network of PALFINGER's service and sales partners. Their competence and knowledge ensure the best customer service and precise information. This strength is accompanied by fast and smooth communication channels, cross-border connections, the permanent availability of more than 250,000 spare parts – and perfectly coordinated logistics. Every day, 20,000 spare parts leave PALFINGER's warehouses. Around 95% reach their destination within 24 hours. That is maximum value.

Smart tools for optimization

And yet, even more is possible. The PALFINGER network additionally aims to provide future-oriented support to its service and distribution partners. "We are investing intensively in the direction of full-service concepts," explains Christian Steiner, PALFINGER Director After Sales Service EMEA. For example, in a spare parts hub concept for Europe and in smart tools to optimize spare parts availability, "This enables our customers to know exactly their total cost of ownership."

More efficient workflow thanks to AI

Thanks to powerful forecasting methods based on artificial intelligence, even more efficient workflows are possible. This significantly increases the ability to deliver and precisely adapts inventory to requirements. "For PALFINGER, '100% Uptime' is a commitment to our customers and partners and the standard by which we want to be measured," emphasizes Christian Steiner.
