Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas (MLA) recently hosted a special send-off celebration for Christian, a six-year-old from Houston whose dream of going on a Disney Cruise is about to come true through Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana.
Christian, known for his joyful spirit and resilience despite a challenging medical journey, will embark on his Disney Cruise from July 9–14. The trip will also mark a major milestone for Christian — he will be four years in remission during the cruise.
As a proud corporate sponsor of Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana, MLA organized a beach-themed party at its Houston headquarters to mark the occasion. The event brought together Christian’s family, Make-A-Wish representatives and MLA employees for an afternoon of celebration that included games like cornhole and limbo, along with food from Chick-fil-A and an ice cream truck.
“This event is part of our ongoing commitment to giving back and making a meaningful impact,” said an MLA spokesperson. “Supporting Christian’s wish is a moment we’re proud to be a part of.”
Christian’s wish includes meeting Disney characters, flying on an airplane for the first time and spending time at the beach. The cruise will offer opportunities for him to build sandcastles, splash in the waves and make lasting memories with his family.
