Perkins is scheduled to present several diesel engine platforms aimed at rental and access equipment markets during The ARA Show 2026, taking place March 2–4 in Orlando, Florida.
The company will exhibit in booth 2255 at the Orange County Convention Center, where it will focus on engines used in rental equipment such as aerial work platforms, compact loaders, mobile generator sets, pumps and compressors. Perkins states the engine offerings are designed to meet rental fleet demands related to reliability, maintenance efficiency and machine availability.
“The rental industry is more competitive than ever, and rental solutions have to exceed expectations for reliability, durability and ease of use,” said Corey Berry, global rental sales and marketing manager for Perkins. “We’re poised with power solutions and technical resources specifically aimed at helping rental companies maximize their uptime, expedite the return-to-ready process, provide a clear line of communication for support and instill confidence in rental operators when using machines powered by Perkins.”
One of the engines featured will be the Perkins 904 Series 3.6-liter engine (pictured above), which supports equipment requiring up to 121 horsepower (90 kilowatts). The four-cylinder engine meets U.S. Tier 4 Final emissions standards and is designed for compact machines, including telehandlers and skid steer loaders often found in rental and access fleets. Perkins reports that the engine offers flexibility through multiple configuration options for tight installation spaces.
Perkins will also display the Perkins 404J-E22T engine, part of the 400 Series, which is designed for compact construction and industrial equipment, including aerial work platforms. The company notes that the engine provides torque capability intended to support a broader operating range and can be deployed across different emissions regions.
In addition to engine platforms, Perkins will provide information on its Perkins Rental Support Program, which offers maintenance resources and digital parts support through the SmartEquip network. The program is intended to help rental companies streamline service workflows and reduce equipment downtime.
