Teupen Offers New Compact Aerial Lifts in the LEO Series

Teupen recently launched two new LEO Series compact aerial lifts for the North American market: the TL54AJ and the TL63.

The TL54AJ is Teupen’s largest lift that can fit through a standard single doorway and is fitted with an independently operated jib that can move 90° to maneuver in tight work areas. Providing a similar look and feel as the 51-ft. unit, the TL54AJ has an increased 53’6” platform height and a lateral reach of 27’11”. The two person platform provides 441 lbs. of unrestricted capacity.

During setup, the lift can climb slopes up to 21%, and the outriggers are automatically self-leveling. Maximum outrigger footprint is 10’10” long by 9’11” wide. The machine has less than 75 psf in the working position. When operated, the proportional controls provide smooth movement.

The TL54AJ is powered by a Kubota diesel engine or 115V/20 amp electric power and can be equipped with an optional lithium ion battery for interior-only projects. During transport, the aerial lift can be stowed to a 6’6” height, 2’7” width, and 14’9” length (without basket). Standard weight is 5.400 lbs.

The taller new unit, the TL63A, has a 62’10” platform height and 39’4” of outreach. The articulated design allows for the two telescopic booms to be independently operated.

Capable of driving through a standard double doorway, this compact aerial lift measures 3’3” wide, 6’6” tall, and 15’5” long (without the basket). The machine can drive up to 2.5 mph and offers maximum gradeability of 16.7 degrees/30%. Weighing 6.570 lbs. the TL63A has a 32.8 psf in the working position.

Featuring dual power, the unit can be operated outside with a Kubota diesel engine or 115V electric power. During operation, the platform can hold up to 551 lbs., and the basket rotates 180 degrees. The turret rotates 450 degrees to reach all areas on the site.
