Touch Screen Viewable in Direct Sunlight | Construction News

The newest member of the rugged TRU-Tuff Series monitors, the SRMTR-10.4V sunlight readable touch screen from TRU-Vu Monitors, features a 1,000 nits brightness screen. This is four to five times brighter than standard monitors, and enables an operator to see even with bright sunlight falling directly onto the screen.

The SRMTR-10.4 offers a five-wire resistive touch screen, 800 x 600 resolution, and VGA input in a powder-coated steel enclosure. It also features TRU-Tuff treatment for shock and vibration resistance, and it can be powered by 12 VDC or 90-240 VAC.

TRU-Tuff Series monitors have been deployed in industrial, marine, military, and commercial applications including overhead cranes, port terminals, loading docks, military vehicles, and helicopters. The monitors’ dim-to-black option also makes them applicable for nighttime use.
