Industrial Construction Veteran Joins MC Industrial | Construction News

In construction news, MC Industrial has hired 40-year industrial industry veteran Gary Jaslovsky as project director responsible for overseeing construction projects in Northwest Indiana, the Chicago area and nationwide.

“We are excited to have a professional with Gary’s experience and knowledge of the heavy industrial construction industry join MC Industrial,” said Tom Felton, president, MC Industrial. “With nearly forty years in this industry, Gary has a solid foundation and his expertise ranges from negotiating large, complex projects to overseeing projects valued at $200 million plus,” he added. “And we get the added benefit that Gary has worked with and established strong, long-term relationships with many of our existing clients prior to joining us.”

Jaslovsky comes to MC Industrial having worked for several large general contractors coast to coast throughout his career in the construction industry.  He has nearly 40 years of experience managing large capital construction projects in the food, emissions control, power generation, petrochemical, chemical, automotive and steel industries.

Most recently, Jaslovsky managed construction of an EPC contract for a 548-mw, combined-cycle power plant in Primm, Nev., just outside of Las Vegas. The project – which involved all site work and foundations to erect two SW 501 FD combustion turbines, an Alstom steam turbine/generator package, two heat-recovery steam generators, an air-cooled condenser and a switchyard – utilized dry-cooling technology with clean-burning natural gas as the sole fuel source in order to reserve the area′s scarce water resources.
