Brass Knuckle has released its Licorice (BKADJ-5001) safety glasses, adding a new eye protection option designed for workers in access, construction and industrial applications.
The company said the glasses were developed to improve wearer comfort through lightweight construction and adjustable components intended to support extended use on the jobsite. Features include variable-length temples and a pivoting nosepiece designed to help workers achieve a more secure fit.
According to Brass Knuckle, users can adjust the temple length for a customized fit, while the Brass Knuckle PivotEase nosepiece provides a secure, non-slip fit on the bridge of the nose. The design also includes a thermoplastic rubber (TPR) nose pad intended to improve comfort during prolonged wear.
Licorice safety glasses feature a matte black polycarbonate frame and include anti-fog performance as well as resistance to abrasion, chemicals and ultraviolet exposure. The glasses meet ANSI Z87.1+ and EN166UV testing requirements, according to the company.
A smoke lens option is also available, allowing 18% light transmission for different work environments and lighting conditions.
Brass Knuckle said qualified workers and distributors can participate in a sample program to test the product before purchase.
The company provides personal protective equipment for industries including construction, manufacturing, roofing, electrical, landscaping and general industrial work.
