Sinoboom has launched a new upgraded display system for its larger boom lifts, called the SmartHub Screen, designed to improve machine operation, maintenance and fleet management. The system was showcased at the 2026 CONEXPO-CON/AGG event.
The SmartHub Screen introduces a large-format interface intended to support machine diagnostics, status monitoring, access control and multilingual operation. According to the company, the system is being rolled out across nearly all Sinoboom boom lift models.
A key function of the SmartHub Screen is its support for manual-free diagnostics and maintenance. It includes an expanded fault library, guided repair instructions and over-the-air (OTA) remote updates intended to streamline troubleshooting and reduce downtime.
The system also provides visualized machine status data built on a structured CAN network, allowing operators and service personnel to monitor equipment conditions and support fault identification. Navigation, CAN-ID setup and sensor calibration have also been optimized to improve day-to-day usability and machine monitoring.
Sinoboom states that the SmartHub Screen includes security and access control features. These include traceable login functions and a multi-level dynamic password system designed to support secure access and data tracking. The upgraded event data recorder (EDR), often referred to as a “black box,” stores operational data and logs intended for use in fault analysis and root-cause investigations.
The display system also supports an eight-language operating interface to accommodate different regional users and jobsite requirements.
According to Sinoboom, the SmartHub Screen is intended to enhance operational efficiency, improve fleet visibility, and reduce equipment downtime by combining diagnostics, security and machine data functions within a single interface.
The SmartHub Screen is being implemented across most of the company’s boom lift range as part of its broader digitalization and smart fleet management development strategy.
