CLARK Introduces SMART Telematics for Forklifts

CLARK Material Handling Company has officially launched CLARK SMART Telematics, a technology platform aimed at elevating safety, productivity and fleet management effectiveness. Starting July 16, the system will be offered as a factory-installed option on four popular lift models: GTS20‑33, S20‑35, S40‑60 and S20‑32C.

CLARK SMART integrates seamlessly with the truck’s CAN Bus, providing real-time data, remote access and analytics, supported by a five-year service plan with no recurring fees.

Brandon Bullard, vice president of sales, noted that “CLARK SMART puts control and insight into the hands of our customers like never before. This solution is another example of how CLARK is driving innovation to help our dealers and customers operate safer, smarter and more efficiently.”

Core toolsets include GPS tracking with remote shutdown, real-time accident alerts and digital pre-shift inspections that can trigger safe-mode operation or shutdowns if non-compliance is detected. Web-enabled analytics enable efficiency through operator productivity monitoring, service alerts and rental-hour tracking.
