DICA is growing its Urbandale, Iowa, headquarters with additional manufacturing and office space to increase production and improve customer support.

The expansion will bring the company’s operational footprint to 50,000 square feet, allowing higher inventory levels, faster delivery and space for staff growth. The company is also investing in specialized equipment to support product development.

“When we moved into our new headquarters three years ago, it was with the intention of growing into it over time,” said Kris Koberg, CEO of DICA. “Due to demand and product expansion, the need for additional space was accelerated to help ensure we can continue meeting ground support and stabilization needs for years to come.”Harrison Hipple

As part of its growth strategy, DICA has added to its sales team with the appointment of Harrison Hipple as account manager for crane and rigging. Hipple brings more than 15 years of crane industry experience, including roles in sales and product management at The Manitowoc Company.

The company, founded in 1988, specializes in engineered outrigger pads, crane pads and cribbing solutions for industries including construction, utilities, tree care and crane rental.
