Donkey Forklifts has appointed Shoppa's Material Handling as an authorized dealer, expanding its sales, service, and parts support for truck-mounted forklifts across Texas.
Shoppa's operates nine locations throughout the state and has more than 40 years of material handling experience. The family-owned company, which has operated since 1981, provides equipment, rentals, parts, service, automation, and warehouse solutions.
Bradley Holder, vice president of sales for Donkey Forklifts, said Shoppa's experience and statewide presence were factors in the dealership appointment.
"Shoppa's has the scale, reputation, and customer-first values we look for in a dealer," said Holder. "They have built an outstanding reputation by helping customers solve operational challenges, not just sell equipment.”
Jason Bratton, vice president of strategic partnerships at Shoppa's, said the partnership will add truck-mounted forklifts to the company's material handling portfolio.
“We’re excited to partner with Donkey Forklifts and expand our material handling portfolio with a proven truck-mounted forklift solution,” said Bratton. “This partnership allows us to better serve customers in industries like building materials, lumber, agriculture, and construction who need efficient unloading and delivery capabilities in the field. By adding Donkey to our lineup, we’re continuing our commitment to providing customers with the right equipment for every application, backed by the sales, service, and support they’ve come to expect from Shoppa’s.”
Donkey Forklifts offers mechanical, hydrostatic and electric truck-mounted forklift models. The company said reducing equipment weight can allow operations in building materials, lumber, agriculture, construction, and other industries to carry more payload on each load.
The addition of Shoppa's expands Donkey's dealer network in Texas as the company celebrates 40 years of American-made production.
