Entries Now Open for 2025 LLEAP Awards

Lift and Access magazine is now seeking entries for its 2025 LLEAP Awards program.

The Leadership in Lifting Equipment and Aerial Platforms (LLEAP) Awards honor the industry’s most innovative equipment, support products, and services introduced in the past year. Enter your innovative new products for your chance to join a distinguished set of honorees.

The deadline for entries is Thursday, July 3.

The 2025 awards will recognize products that have been introduced into the North American market between June 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025, and are currently available in North America. 

Here’s what you need to know to enter.

Eligible products and services:

• Brand new models or services
• Products or services that existed in other markets but are new to North America
• Existing products or services that have been redesigned or modified extensively and reintroduced

LLEAP Entry Categories

• MEWPs: Self-propelled boom lifts; manually or self-propelled scissor, mast, or other vertical lifts; compact lifts; specialty lifts
• Vehicle-Mounted Aerial Lifts: Trailer- or truck-mounted elevating devices or work platforms
• Material Handlers: Rough-terrain vertical-mast forklifts and telescopic-boom handlers (fixed and rotating)
• Features and Components: Features developed by an OEM or supplier that are integral to an OEM’s new or existing MEWP, vehicle-mounted-lift or material handler
• Aftermarket Support Products and Services: Products and services developed and sold specifically for equipment users

Judging

The LLEAP judging panel consists of industry experts involved in the operation, rental, sale and servicing of aerial platforms and lifting equipment. In evaluating each entry, the judges look for innovative features and technology; perceived value; productivity for owners and users; and overall benefit to the industry, owners, and users.

In each of the five product categories, the top-scoring entry receives a Gold Award, and the second-highest-scoring entry receives a Silver Award.

The Gold and Silver Award winners will be recognized in the November-December 2025 issue of Lift and Access magazine and will receive a glass trophy.

In addition, all LLEAP Award finalist products will be listed on the Lift and Access website.

How to Enter

Enter your product(s) and service(s) in the 2025 LLEAP Awards competition using the online form at https://hcgi.wufoo.com/forms/z3kv56b18ofkk8/.

The first entry from each company costs $475. Each additional entry is $275.

Each entry should include:

• A high-resolution (300 dpi) photo or diagram of the product
• A high-resolution (300 dpi) photo or a scalable art file of your company logo
• A description (up to 600 words) of the product, its features, and its capabilities. Include the model name; the product’s list price when it was introduced; any important specifications, such as capacity, platform or hook height; key features; and highlights of how it is different from other products. Be sure to address the key criteria listed above (innovation, perceived value, productivity and overall value), as well as any unique features.
• Optional but highly recommended: a video that shows the product in action or provides a walk-through demonstration of its features.
• Optional but recommended: product literature or other visual aids that help judges understand the particulars of the entry.
