JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation business, outlined a series of facility expansions, product introductions and operational initiatives completed in North America during 2025, marking a year of continued investment in access equipment and lifecycle support.

The McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania-based manufacturer of mobile elevating work platforms and telehandlers reported progress across infrastructure, product development and customer support as part of its broader access equipment strategy.

“For more than 55 years, JLG has remained focused on advancing the access industry,” says Tim Morris, chief commercial officer, JLG. “It is the business we started, it is the business we continue to invest in and it is the business we are committed to leading. Our actions this year — from infrastructure expansion and product innovation to portfolio enhancement through integration — reflect our continued commitment to the customers and industries that rely on JLG equipment to work safely and efficiently at height, as well as demonstrate our intent to continue to build on our strong foundation as we move into 2026.”

Facility Investments Across the U.S.

During 2025, JLG opened a new 113,000-square-foot facility in Frederick, Maryland, dedicated to product development, innovation, equipment testing and cross-functional collaboration. The site is now operational and intended to support future product initiatives.

The company also expanded its Reconditioning and RESET Center footprint. Improvements included restructuring the Hiram, Georgia, RESET facility to add 22,000 square feet of production space, constructing a new RESET facility in Fort Worth, Texas, with 15,000 square feet of planned production space expected to be fully operational in early 2026, and opening a new 120,000-square-foot Reconditioning Center in Houston, Texas.

RESET Centers support JLG’s Certified Pre-Owned Equipment Program by managing updates and repairs under a JLG Certified warranty. At Reconditioning Centers, technicians restore boom lifts through a multi-step process to factory-approved, like-new condition, backed by a JLG warranty.

“These expansions reinforce JLG’s commitment to investing in U.S.-based operations and providing enhanced support for our customers and team members,” says Morris. “These facilities strengthen our ability to deliver a wide range of high-quality equipment solutions, including new, used and reconditioned options, to meet market needs.”

Access Equipment and Platform Developments

JLG introduced multiple access equipment updates during 2025, including additions to its ClearSky Smart Fleet features, rotating telehandler lineup, micro-sized scissor lift range, low-level access lift updates and new accessories.

New platform-related solutions introduced during the year included a narrow boom platform designed for work in confined spaces, a mid-rail deck accessory intended to address overhead reach limitations and a rapid replaceable platform aimed at reducing downtime by allowing platform replacement in 15 to 20 minutes on select boom lifts.

“These options are designed to enhance productivity, safety and serviceability on job sites,” says Morris. “With these new platform options, JLG continues to bring practical, everyday solutions to market that address real-world job site challenges while also setting new benchmarks for the customer-inspired innovations from an industry leader.”

Service and Support Enhancements

JLG reported continued expansion of its customer support capabilities through an omnichannel approach that includes self-service resources, contact centers, field service providers and product experts.

“Our customers can access our industry expertise and leadership through self-service troubleshooting via our Knowledge Base article library on Online Express,” says Morris. “Plus, we’re using technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) through virtual assistance and voice-to-text to enrich our customer support capabilities even more.”

Beginning in early 2026, JLG plans to implement machine-specific QR codes across select models. The QR codes will provide access to serial number-specific documentation, including parts catalogs, service bulletins, manuals and hydraulic schematics.

“Uptime is critical for our customers, and the ability to quickly access accurate service information can make all the difference,” says Morris. “With QR code-enabled machines, we’re delivering real-time support at the point of need, improving service efficiency and helping equipment stay productive on the job.”

AUSA Integration Milestone

2025 also marked one year since AUSA was integrated into the JLG organization. The integration expanded JLG’s product portfolio within compact and material handling equipment categories.

“AUSA brings a reputation for durable equipment and trusted performance — values that are aligned with JLG’s legacy,” says Morris. “Together, we are offering a wider range of products to our customers in North America without compromising the standards for quality, engineering and customer support excellence that define both brands.”

Looking Ahead

JLG stated that it will continue focusing on innovation, investment and partnerships in 2026. The company plans to present new technologies and concepts at multiple industry events, including CES, World of Concrete, the GCSAA Conference & Trade Show, The ARA Show and CONEXPO-CON/AGG.

“As we look ahead, we’re continuing to build on the momentum of 2025 by investing in new technologies, expanding our product portfolio and exploring both organic and inorganic opportunities for growth,” says Morris.
