New equipment and technologies took the stage at this year’s CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas, Nevada. From innovative aerial lifts to rugged jobsite machinery, the event highlighted tools designed to tackle today’s toughest field challenges while shaping the future of the industry. 

Palazzani Industrie

The Palazzani TZJ 590, recipient of the 2025 Working at Height Award, features a 59-foot working height, 26-foot, 3-inch outreach and 510-pound basket capacity. Its compact 2-foot, 7-inch width and variable tracks support access in confined areas, while electro-hydraulic controls and multiple power options allow indoor and outdoor use.

Palazzani also displayed the TSJ 82 lift and crane, available in Bi-energy and Hybrid versions, and the TZ 108 tracked lift.

JLG Industries

The “Job Site of the Future” model allows mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) to coordinate tasks through the ClearSky Smart Fleet platform. Integrated IoT and automation enable multiple machines to operate together under one operator, supporting applications such as welding and material handling, along with predictive maintenance, remote operation and improved equipment utilization.

Offering a first look, the new JLG 860SJ+ telescopic boom lift builds on the 860SJ platform, featuring expanded lifting capability, improved operator functionality and new serviceability features.

Skyjack

The SJ6940 RT is Skyjack’s largest compact rough terrain scissor lift, offering a 46-foot working height, 800-pound platform capacity, 14-foot, 10-inch roll-out deck, oscillating front steer axle and optional auto-leveling outriggers. 

The company also expanded its aerial work platform lineup with the battery-powered SJ45 AJN and SJ45 ARJN slab booms, the narrow SJ3232 E and high-reach SJ5545 E slab scissors, hybrid-electric and all-electric articulating booms and new ACCESSORYZERS for enhanced safety and versatility.

Genie

Genie Recon focuses on reconditioning seven to 10 year old models through a process of disassembly, inspection and reassembly with genuine Genie parts and quality assurance processes. 

The new S-85 offers three power options; diesel, hybrid and full electric, featuring a lithium-ion battery and more than 80 quality improvements. 

Also on display was a proof-of-concept assisted material handling arm equipped with a vacuum end effector for easier handling of heavy materials overhead, such as drywall.

Tadano America

Tadano expanded its aerial work platform (AWP) portfolio with the debut of several new machines.

The AS-63HD offers a 2,200-pound platform capacity, a 13-foot, 9-inch by 6-foot, 4-inch by 3-foot, 7-inch platform and a single-joystick, four-motion control system. 

Tadano’s AS series provides low ground pressure and 57% gradeability, ideal for rough terrain and sensitive surfaces. 

The AL68 lift is an articulated, narrow-tracked crawler intended for applications that require compact dimensions, flexible positioning and tree care access.

Platform Basket

Platform Basket’s  54 T WCH is a self-propelled, rubber-tracked lifter that can function as an elevating work platform or a crane. The telescopic unit reaches 177.17 feet and lifts up to 2,204 pounds. The fully hydraulic, remote-operated winch includes enough rope for handling materials on roofs and other elevated spaces. The 54 T WCH meets UNI EN 13000 and ISO 4301 standards and can quickly convert between platform and crane configurations.

CMC North America

CMC showcased its Ford F-650 Napide lift carrier, equipped with the new 90i aerial platform. The F-650 features added storage space, providing an all-in-one mobile work package. The unit combines the mobile work truck with a high-reach lift, allowing operators to work with the truck in place or removed. The aerial platform offers a 90-foot maximum working height, 43-foot lateral reach and 397-pound basket capacity, with 90-degree basket rotation and jib articulation.

LGMG North America

LGMG expanded its lineup with the H1256 telehandler, featuring a 12,000-pound lift capacity, 56-foot maximum height, 42-foot outreach and three steering modes. The telehandler includes an ergonomic cab with a 9-inch display and is powered by a 120-horsepower Cummins engine.

The company also introduced the SS1532ER and SS1932ER micro scissor lifts, compact electric machines with low stowed heights, 500-pound platform capacity, integrated step decks, perimeter lighting and a leak containment system for tight jobsites.

Noblelift Intelligent Equipment

The SC1930EC electric scissor lift is designed for safe, efficient and environmentally friendly operation, featuring a DC motor drive, proportional controls, automatic braking, pothole protection, tilt protection and an emergency descent system. MEC

MEC Aerial Work Platforms unveiled several new products, including the MAX 46-RJ Hybrid prototype, MME30 vertical mast lift and a new, nine-model, electric scissor lift line. 

The MAX 46-RJ Hybrid is a 46-foot telescopic boom with a high-capacity rotating jib and ergonomic operator layout. 

The MME30 provides a 36-foot indoor working height in a compact, narrow design with drive-at-full-height capability and the PLUS (+) scissor lift lineup offers higher platform capacities, fewer overload interruptions and extended runtime per charge.

Magni Telescopic Handlers

The Magni HTH 77.37 heavy lift telehandler on display provides a maximum lift capacity of 77,100 pounds and a 37-foot, 5-inch lift height, with 33,100 pounds capacity at full height and a 22-foot, 6-inch forward reach. The four-wheel-drive machine weighs 99,208 pounds and features a pressurized ROPS/FOPS Level 2 cab. Safety systems include a full Load Moment Indicator, boom tip and rear cameras, automatic leveling and Magni’s Smart telematics.

Manitou

Manitou’s MTA 519 e telehandler offers a 5,500-pound lift capacity and 19-foot height with a 33-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery for up to five hours of continuous operation, ideal for indoor and low-emission sites. 

The MRT 4070 rotating telehandler reaches 131 feet with a 15,400-pound capacity, while the redesigned MTA 842 improves ergonomics and reduces total cost of ownership. 

Other North American offerings include GEHL compact loaders and three new attachments, including a brush mulcher, jib winch and grapple pruning saw.

Sinoboom

The narrow AB320ERJN, AB430ERJN and AB490ERJN articulating boom lifts are optimized for rental deployment, while the all-electric 2732E All scissor lift eliminates hydraulic oil leakage. 

The TB860EJ Plus Li telescopic boom lift features a high-capacity lithium battery, and the VM200EAL and ML270EJ vertical mast lifts support efficient warehouse and logistics operations. 

Diesel RT scissor lifts and additional boom and scissor models, along with Dual-ETM Smart Technology and Collision Avoidance Radar, further expand the solutions Sinoboom had on display.

SANY Group

The new STH634A telehandler offers a 6,000-pound lift capacity and 34-foot maximum height with two-, four- and crab-steering modes, rearview camera, HVAC cab and LED work lights. With similar features, the STH5519A telehandler provides a 5,500-pound lift and 19-foot reach.

The SCP160E electric forklift delivers a 16-ton rated load, 13-foot lift height and zero-emission operation via a 618V lithium battery. 

SANY also highlighted new excavators, graders, cranes and rotary drilling rigs.

AXCS Equipment

The TH-1056 telehandler AXCS had on display offers a 56-foot maximum lift height with a 10,000-pound capacity, 42.25-foot forward reach and 5,000-pound capacity at full height. It weighs 33,576 pounds, features a Deutz TCD 3.6 L4 107-horsepower diesel engine, four-wheel drive, three steering modes, plus or minus 10 degree frame leveling and a 40-gallon hydraulic system at 37 gallons per minute. Standard forks range from 48 to 72 inches.

Iowa Mold Tooling (IMT)

IMT’s new Series 5 telescopic cranes feature 16 models with 18- to 32-foot booms and lifting capacities from 3,300 to 12,600 pounds, mounted on Dominator mechanics trucks. The cranes use Penta Boom geometry, high-tensile steel, skeletonized structures and fully hydraulic extensions with IMT’s command control system. 

The featured Odyne plug-in hybrid system allows the truck to power an articulating crane in stationary electric mode, reducing fuel consumption and emissions during lifting operations.

Service Trucks International - Tiger Crane

Tiger Crane introduced its largest model, the 1593 hydraulic crane, offering a 14,800-pound lift capacity and 90,000 foot-pound rating. The hydraulic boom extends 12.5 to 30.5 feet, with 400 degrees of rotation and a 31-foot lift height. 

Features include a hexagonal boom, boom-mounted planetary winch with 120-foot cable, wireless pistol-grip remote with dual joysticks and LCD load display, anti-two-block and overload indicators and Auto II speed control.

Summit Truck Bodies 

Summit Truck Bodies’ 1229 Hydraulic Crane has a 12,000-pound capacity and 29-foot reach, weighing 205 pounds less than previous models. Designed for 26,000 GVWR chassis and larger, it features continuous rotation, fully proportional controls and a revised hexagonal boom. The crane stows and positions loads up to three times faster than traditional systems. Integrated ASE Phase 5 electronics provide real-time diagnostics, predictive maintenance and remote operation from multiple control points.

Hendrickson USA

Hendrickson’s HAULMAAX EX and PRIMAAX EX suspension systems are designed for demanding on- and off-highway vocational applications. 

HAULMAAX EX supports tandem drive axles with capacities from 40,000 to 52,000 pounds, while PRIMAAX EX accommodates single, tandem and tridem axles up to 78,000 pounds. Both feature multiple ride heights, brake compatibility and maintenance-friendly components, including QUIK-ALIGN axle alignment, D-pin connections and premium rubber torque rod bushings to enhance uptime and durability.

Prinoth

Prinoth publicly unveiled the Panther T23r, its largest rotating crawler carrier, featuring the new PowerForce undercarriage for enhanced terrain performance and efficiency. The carrier handles a 22.5-short-ton payload in a 40-ton machine, while its 360-degree rotating upper structure and Hardox steel dump box enable precise placement in confined spaces. 

PowerForce uses eight independently suspended wheels, oblong tracks, precision alignment and automatic tensioning to improve traction, ride comfort and undercarriage longevity across varied terrain.

Stellar Industries

Stellar showcased its updated Hybrid Power Source (HPS), a 48-volt lithium-ion system powering a hydraulic pump, with four energy cells, a battery management system, heating elements and emergency master disconnects. 

The company also introduced high-intensity taillights with glow rings and cascading turn signals. 

Additionally, the redesigned TM4110/9000 large OTR tire truck debuted, featuring flexible lighting, durable stainless-steel latches, adjustable shelving and extra D-rings for improved securement and jobsite versatility.

Maintainer Corporation of Iowa, Inc

Maintainer Corporation, celebrating 50 years, featured its new lineup of all-aluminum body trucks, intended to save weight and increase payload in a corrosion-resistant design. 

The company also highlighted updates to its hydraulic crane lineup, including the 12630, 85630 and 75630 models. The 12630 offers a 12,000-pound lift at 6 feet and 2,893 pounds at 30-foot reach, with a hexagonal boom, planetary winch, counterbalance valves, wireless remote and Advanced Crane Control 2.1.

The VR Crane Simulator from ITI  provides an immersive, low-risk environment for operator training across heavy lift, crawler, rough terrain, lattice boom, tower, carry deck and boom truck cranes. The new VR2 training simulator from PALFINGER offers operators a risk-free way to practice with realistic scenarios and authentic crane physics. 

The portable setup includes a PALCOM P7 remote with familiar levers and joysticks, a wireless VR headset for free movement and step-by-step on-screen instructions. Users can train with multiple scenarios, attachments and loads. The system comes with a performance notebook, WiFi router and rugged case, making it ready for deployment anywhere.

CM Labs expanded the Intellia Workforce Training System, combining simulation curriculum, training management and AI-assisted learning in safe training environments. 

The system now includes lifting and CDL Class A simulations, featuring CDL - A truck, CDL - A trailer, forklift, dual-lift and earthmoving sims.

Bigfoot Outrigger Pads

Bigfoot highlighted new products for lift and utility applications, including a red outrigger pad for cranes up to 50 tons, weighing 46 pounds, about 30% lighter than comparable models. Adjustable leveling pads help stabilize cranes on uneven terrain and are available in multiple sizes. Additional offerings include chain caddies in three sizes, a 5-ton spreader bar and a new rope and cordage line for pulling, marking and securing materials in utility and construction projects.

Kito Crosby

Kito Crosby expanded its Easy-Loc collar pin system to improve safety and speed for shackle connections in lift and utility applications. The system requires pressure on both sides to release, preventing accidental openings and reducing removal time by about 90% versus traditional pins. Now available for 25- to 75-ton shackles, the design includes a lanyard hole for safety cables and can be drilled for additional securing, with retrofit kits planned for existing shackles.

WIKA Mobile Control

The JTC 82C platform control unit (PCU) and HDC33-028B electronic control unit (ECU) are designed for scissor lift operation. The JTC 82C PCU features a 2.8-inch LCD, fault indicator with buzzer and mechanical life exceeding 1 million cycles. The HDC33-028B ECU meets ISO 13849 and EN 280 standards, with USB updates, optional GPS, shock-resistant PA66 housing, IP65 protection and UL508 certification.

International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) 

IPAF has released new guidance on the safe use and maintenance of batteries in MEWPs. The pack includes a technical document, three Toolbox Talks and two Andy Access safety posters, covering safe operation, charging, storage, inspection, maintenance and disposal of flooded lead-acid, AGM, gel and lithium-ion batteries. The guidance aims to help owners, operators, rental companies and maintenance providers manage battery risks throughout MEWPs’ service life.

DICA Outrigger Pads

DICA showcased its new line of ground protection mats, including Ranger HD, Defender MD and Titan systems, designed for equipment on temporary access roads and work platforms. 

The Ranger HD is lightweight for skid steers and telehandlers, the Defender MD offers added stiffness without extra weight and the Titan supports larger equipment in demanding conditions. All mats are made from UV-resistant virgin resin, resist rot, flex with terrain and provide consistent load distribution.

The 904J-E36TTA is a 3.6-liter diesel engine producing 173 horsepower and 546 pound-feet of torque, featuring a twin-turbo design for high power density. 

The 1206 hydrogen hybrid industrial open power unit offers advanced fuel flexibility with an integrated motor generator unit for boosted performance. A battery-electric power unit demonstrator provides zero-exhaust operation in a compact package, maintaining the same mechanical and electrical interfaces as the 3.6-liter diesel for seamless integration.

Caterpillar Industrial Power Systems

Caterpillar showcased its new Cat C3.6 engine, delivering up to 173 horsepower, alongside the power-dense C13D platform, which offers up to 690 horsepower and high torque for heavy-duty off-highway equipment. 

Both engines meet EU Stage V and U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standards. Designed for higher power density and fuel flexibility, the engines also provide extended service intervals, supporting durability, performance and efficiency across a range of construction and industrial applications.

Cummins, Inc.

 

Cummins introduced its next-generation X15 Off-Highway engine to North America, expanding its engine lineup for construction equipment. The platform supports alternative fuel compatibility, including HVO biofuels, with future hydrogen capability. 

The lineup also includes the B6.7 and a 3.8-liter power unit, along with connected solutions offering remote diagnostics, monitoring and over-the-air updates for equipment management.
