Sunstate Equipment has added Trenchman Shoring to its trench safety division, expanding access to trench shoring and excavation safety equipment across Washington. The move increases Sunstate’s service capacity in Olympia, Pasco and the greater Seattle metro area.
The integration provides customers with additional rental fleet access and a broader branch network, while Trenchman employees will continue operating from current locations.
“With this acquisition, we’re making it even easier for our customers to get the trench equipment and support they need across the Pacific Northwest,” said Sunstate president and CEO Norty Turner.
Trenchman founder Brian Garlinghouse said the transition supports continued service in the market. “Our customers can expect the same trusted team and expertise, but now supported by Sunstate’s expanded network and resources,” he said.
Trenchman Shoring has supplied trench safety equipment, on-site support and training services for more than two decades. The acquisition aligns with Sunstate’s continued expansion of its trench safety rental services in the region.
