Vicario Self-Erectors Now Available in North America

Creative Lifting Services (CLS), Brighton, Colo., now offers Vicario self-erecting cranes for sale or rent throughout North America. Although well established in Europe, this is the first time the Italian-made self-erectors are available here.

CLS is offering five Vicario models. Two of the more popular are the V1989 (shown above) and the V23137. The V1989 has an 89-ft. jib, 4,851-lb. maximum capacity, 1,874-lb. capacity at the jib tip, and maximum hook heights of 78 ft. with the jib horizontal or 109 ft. with the jib set up in luffed position. Other features are shipping with counterweights on, hydraulically operated outriggers, and full-speed operation on single-phase electric power.

The V23137 has a 137-ft. jib, 8,820-lb. maximum capacity, 2,315-lb. jib-tip capacity, 84’6” hook height with the jib horizontal, and 107-ft. hook height with the jib luffed. Its other features include hydraulic outriggers, a 14'9"x14'9" outrigger base, and full-speed operation on single-phase power.

Creative Lifting Solutions President Will Webb says that although a few people have seemed skeptical that a self-erector can run at full speed on single-phase power, Creative Lifting Solutions and the makers of Vicario cranes have figured out how to do it.

Webb also says that Creative Lifting Solutions maintains a substantial inventory of parts for the Vicario cranes and handles all warranty claims from its office in Colorado.
