The annual Work Truck Show is often the site of introductions of the latest commercial vehicles, accessories and solutions. This year was no exception. Work Truck Show 2026 announcements included:

Adrian

  • Open Bed Service Truck fully modular and customizable system that meets or exceeds the storage capacity of a standard 8-foot service body
  • Roll-Up Door with better water protection and security

Bergstrom Inc.

The eCoolPark series of electric no-idle systems for light and medium-duty fleets in a modular platform built on a single architecture with three power tiers ranging from 12 volts to 48 volts, including:

  • eCoolPark Moon HVAC solution
  • eCoolPark Eclipse balanced power HVAC solution for demanding duty cycles
  • eCoolPark Sun: idle HVAC solution for maximum cooling 

Cummins Inc.

  • Medium-duty vocational Cummins X10 mid-bore 10-liter diesel with the Cummins Twin Module Aftertreatment system featuring separate DPF and SCR assemblies to enable flexible chassis integration

Ford Pro

  • 2027 Tremor Off-Road Package on all Super Duty models with expanded Tremor availability to the XL Trim with STX Appearance Package, which includes 35-inch tires, factory lift, electronic locking rear differential, skid plates, Trail Control and Rock Crawl Mode. The package is now available on Crew Cab models with a 176-inch wheelbase and an 8-foot bed with both 6-3/4- and 8-foot box options

Harbinger

  • HC Series Cab for medium-duty, low cab forward vehicles available as both electric and plug-in hybrid models with a 26,000-pound gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR)
  • Hybrid platform with an extended range up to 500 miles depending on upfit configuration and a drive cycle that also supports full power take-off (PTO) functionality to operate hydraulic and body-mounted equipment
  • Power export system onboard AC inverter option delivering up to 15 kilowatts of exportable power on both electric and hybrid models for powering tools and equipment directly from the vehicle. In hybrid configuration, the system can sustain continuous 15-kilowatt power export through onboard generation

  • 2027 Ram ProMaster City work-ready Class 2 commercial van featuring over 2,000 pounds of payload capacity and a targeted 2,000 pounds of towing capability, more than 167 cubic feet of cargo space and a 111-inch load floor with over 48 inches between the rear wheel wells. The model also has a 23-inch rear step in height and can be fitted with an optional rear liftgate

Looking to the Future

At the 2026 Green Truck Summit, the commercial vehicle technology conference that kicked off Work Truck Week, Ian Hucker, vice president of GM Envolve, presented a keynote address about the ongoing evolution of multi-stage commercial vehicles.

In 2027, through a collaboration between NTEA and the NAFA Fleet Management Association, the Green Truck Summit will become the Future Truck Summit featuring an expanded curriculum focused on the fuels, software, hardware and on-vehicle technology that is rapidly evolving and driving improvements in commercial vehicle efficiency, safety and durability.
