Central Mass Crane Service Purchases Tadano ATF100G-4 | Construction News

A new Tadano ATF 100G-4 has been delivered to Central Mass Crane Service, sold by Flaherty Equipment in Massachusetts. The 110-ton capacity all-terrain crane is the first Tadano in the company’s fleet of nearly a dozen hydraulic cranes. Jack Daige, president of Central Mass, said the company looks forward to putting the new crane to immediate use in industrial, commercial, and highway projects.

The Tadano ATF 100G-4 is a four-axle hydro-pneumatic 110-ton capacity all-terrain crane with a six-section 168-foot telescopic boom and a 59-foot bifold jib. Its two-engine configuration includes Mercedes-Benz EPA Tier 4F water-cooled diesel carrier and superstructure engines. The crane offers a spacious cab, tilting inner cockpit, and outrigger control from the upper cab as well as both sides of the carrier. The four-point double telescopic hydraulic outriggers have automatic length detection, which provides the capability for an asymmetrical outrigger setup.

Mike Flaherty, president of Flaherty Equipment Corporation, remarked that they worked with Tadano to make the deal happen. “We are a family run business that strives to produce quality work and craftsmanship in all aspects of the crane industry” said Flaherty.
