CLARK Material Handling Company has announced that FUSION lithium battery technology will now be available as a factory-installed option on four of its forklift models: SE235, SEC, SET and SES. The new battery system will be available beginning July 16, 2025.
The CLARK FUSION lithium battery is designed to improve productivity and reduce total cost of ownership by offering longer operational life, faster charging and zero required maintenance. According to CLARK, the lithium battery can replace up to three lead-acid batteries, lowering battery-related costs by as much as 50%.
“Customers want simplicity, performance, and value — and the CLARK FUSION Lithium battery delivers on all three,” said Brandon Bullard, vice president of sales at CLARK Material Handling Company. “This is a game-changer for operations looking to reduce maintenance, eliminate downtime and stay productive around the clock. And because these batteries are factory-installed, our dealers and national accounts can put them to work immediately with zero setup headaches.”
The FUSION lithium battery charges in about two hours and does not require cooling time, enabling opportunity charging throughout the day. CLARK noted that users no longer need designated charging rooms, which helps reduce facility space requirements and associated costs.
Unlike traditional batteries, FUSION lithium technology requires no watering, acid refills or cleanup. With no risk of spills or contamination, the battery system offers a cleaner, safer option for modern warehouse environments.
