Lift-A-Loft AMR Series

Lift-A-Loft AMR Series

The Lift-A-Loft AMR Series is a mobile elevated work platform designed to provide safe access for maintenance, inspection, and assembly operations where personnel need to work at height around large equipment or structures. A distinguishing feature of the AMR Series is its integrated overhead lanyard system, which is intended to provide a dedicated fall-arrest anchorage for operators when work requires stepping outside the platform onto an adjacent work surface.

In many maintenance environments, workers traditionally rely on fixed ladders, catwalks, or overhead building anchor systems to access elevated areas. The AMR Series offers an alternative approach by combining a maneuverable work platform with manufacturer-provided overhead fall-arrest attachment points. This configuration allows operators to maintain a connection to a tested anchorage while transitioning between the platform and the work area, when permitted by the employer’s fall protection program and applicable safety procedures.

The compact design of the AMR Series enables the unit to maneuver in confined spaces commonly found in rail maintenance facilities, manufacturing plants, and aircraft assembly operations. Because the platform can be repositioned as work progresses, personnel can maintain access to multiple work locations without repeatedly climbing down to relocate equipment.

Typical applications include locomotive and railcar maintenance, aircraft manufacturing and maintenance, heavy vehicle service, industrial fabrication, and other operations where elevated access and fall protection are important considerations. By integrating mobility, elevated access, and overhead fall-arrest capability into a single platform, the AMR Series supports maintenance activities in environments where safe positioning and efficient access are critical to the work being performed.

MEC MME30

Indoor work increasingly requires more height from machines that need to navigate tight, finished, and high-density spaces. This is especially true in data centers and similar facilities, where overhead mechanical, electrical, and security infrastructure creates access challenges in areas with sensitive floors and limited room to maneuver.

The MEC MME30 was designed specifically to address these challenges. As the first and only self-propelled vertical mast lift to deliver a 36-foot indoor working height in a compact 32-inch-wide machine with a 78.5-inch stowed height, the MME30 provides higher access without requiring crews to move into a larger scissor or boom lift. Compared with these alternatives, the MME30 provides a highly cost-effective means of self-propelled access above 30 feet.

Its compact 60-inch overall length and 32-inch width allow it to pass through a standard single doorway and maneuver through constrained building interiors. Once at height, operators can drive fully elevated indoors, reducing repeated lowering, repositioning, and elevating between work areas.

The MME30 also provides a 350-pound platform capacity and 20-inch deck extension, giving operators practical capacity and reach for punch lists, maintenance, overhead installations, and inspections. PMSR direct-electric AC drive motors and AGM maintenance-free batteries support efficient operation, while 5-inch-wide non-marking tires and MEC’s patented Leak Containment System help protect sensitive finished floors.

Rugged steel construction and strengthened roller-mast components further prepare the MME30 for demanding, high-turn rental applications. By combining industry-leading vertical mast height, compact access, full-height drive capability, floor protection, and rental-ready durability, the MME30 gives crews a practical, productive, and cost-effective way to work higher indoors.

JLG E25MCL

JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation business, has introduced the JLG E25MCL vertical mast lift to the North American market. The electric-powered E25MCL adds a higher-reaching model to the company’s vertical mast lift portfolio, with features designed for confined indoor environments requiring reach and maneuverability.

Designed for data centers, facilities maintenance, commercial construction, and industrial applications, the E25MCL combines a compact footprint with a 25-foot platform height and 31-foot working height. Its narrow chassis and zero inside turning radius help it navigate tight spaces and obstacles. The machine has a standard platform capacity of 350 pounds and a 265-pound deck extension capacity.

The E25MCL features progressive elevated drive technology, which adjusts travel speed as the platform is raised. It also features JLG Variable Tilt Technology, which helps maximize the machine’s work envelope on slight slopes. A leak containment system uses built-in trays designed to contain 100% of the system’s hydraulic fluid.

Serviceability features include relocated batteries under the hood, simplified harness routing, and a reduced parts count. The E25MCL comes standard with flooded lead-acid (FLA) batteries, with AGM and lithium-ion options available. JLG ClearSky Smart Fleet connectivity also comes standard. Options and accessories include SkySense with Collision Avoidance, an object detection system designed to provide alerts and support operator awareness in certain operating conditions.

Skyjack SJ Series

The SJ20 E, SJ16 E, and SJ12 E vertical masts are designed for low-level access applications requiring quiet operation, compact dimensions, and maneuverability. The models offer increased working heights, access in tight spaces, and features focused on operator safety.

These machines offer a rigid mast design for smooth operation at height and a mast-top that is in line with platform rails, benefiting overhead work, especially where there are drop ceilings. The telescopic mast is at the rear of the machine, which provides unrestricted views from the front-facing control box and keeps 90-degree front wheel steering away from the mast, allowing for zero-radius turning. The multi-stage cylinder mast design reduces maintenance. Included in a range of great features are a traversing deck with up-and-over capability, smart charging, simple robust controls, and an onboard diagnostics display with plain language readouts.

Skyjack’s vertical masts’ robust all-steel platform with replaceable mesh floors offers a power-to-the-platform power source for tools, eliminates hanging cords, and provides plenty of lanyard attachment points. Front wheel electric drive provides exceptional duty cycles, improved controllability, 25% gradeability, and consistent torque. Steel front wheel motor guards provide protection for parts. The machine’s non-marking tires protect finished floors, while forklift pockets provide expanded functionality. The compact size and low weight allow for excellent maneuverability through standard doorways and in passenger elevators.

Bravi Platforms Residential 170

The new Residential 170 by Bravi Platforms is a vertical lift designed for residential environments, with a clear distinguishing feature: dual travel modes, electric and manual. The operator can choose whether to move the machine autonomously or push it manually, depending on actual site conditions.

With a working height of up to 3.7 meters (12.14 feet), the machine is suited for typical indoor applications such as installations, ceiling work, drywall, and maintenance. The ability to switch between modes allows operation even in occupied spaces or areas with access constraints, without interrupting workflow.

Residential 170 weighs 360 kilograms (793.66 pounds) and is only 66 centimeters (25.98 inches) wide, allowing it to pass through standard doorways and operate easily in apartments and corridors. Its low weight also simplifies transport and use on sensitive flooring.

Using the platform instead of traditional solutions such as ladders and scaffolding improves operator comfort by reducing repetitive movements and frequent climbing. This results in more continuous work and fewer interruptions, with a direct impact on overall site efficiency.

The combination of dual travel mode, compact dimensions, and defined working height makes Residential 170 a purpose-built solution for residential jobsites, where access and continuity are real constraints.

Genie GR Runabout Series

Genie GR Runabout vertical mast lifts combine compact dimensions and lightweight construction with the maneuverability needed for indoor access applications. Designed to fit through standard doorways with an operator on board and into most passenger elevators, the self-propelled lifts are suited for inventory management, stock picking, facility maintenance, and other tasks in warehouses and space-constrained environments.

The product line consists of three models — GR-12, GR-15, and GR-20 — which provide indoor platform heights of 11 feet, 4 inches, 14 feet, 8 inches, and 19 feet, 9 inches, respectively. Full elevation drive contributes to increased productivity. Runabout vertical lifts also have outdoor platform height ratings and feature a zero inside turning radius for maneuverability in tight spaces.

The newest option for the GR product line is Genie Lift Guard Zone Lighting, a perimeter lighting system designed to increase awareness among operators and personnel working near the lift.

Zone Lighting uses red laser lights to project a highly visible boundary at ground level, approximately 2 feet (61 centimeters) from the edge of the chassis. The projected line is approximately 0.6 inches (15 millimeters) wide and visible under a range of indoor lighting conditions. By clearly defining the lift’s operating footprint, the system helps operators recognize available perimeter clearance while alerting nearby personnel when they are approaching or entering the machine’s work zone. Lift Guard Zone Lighting is available for Genie GR Runabout lifts as a factory-installed option or an aftermarket retrofit kit.
